The MITB is designed to give you a deep understanding of the drivers of globalization, the process of internationalization, how the global economic environment influences firms' competitive responses, and how the world is interconnected. This results in graduates ready to deal with the challenges of expanding business into new global markets along with those of managing teams across cultures and continents.
By completing the MITB you will be in a position to identify the motives and means of servicing foreign markets, address controversial issues in international trade & business, formulate your own international business plans, and appreciate the factors that drive performance in the global economy.

Destinatarios

Student Profile:
Professionals willing to initiate, develop or reorient their professional career in international trade, with a clear vision to reach international commercial director positions or become an entrepreneur willing to start up their own business in international trade; professionals seeking a differential advantage through greater knowledge of customers, markets and marketing, operating in a global and digitized world.

Objetivos

Participants will gain the key skills and knowledge to assess, manage and implement strategies in international trade, while strengthening their ability to face and resolve complex challenges in an increasingly globalized marketing environment.

Metodología

Student-centred learning guided by lecturers, tutors, and mentors to understand, practise, reflect on, and apply both subject-specific knowledge and transferable skills.
Methodology criteria:
The aim is to create a virtuous cycle of action-feedback-analysis-action for students on the courses.
The strategy is based on the following three principles:
Development of critical thinking.
Encouragement of independent learning.
Provision of professional and academic guidance.
Sessions and activities focussed on decision-making, guided by practitioners and framed within conceptual insights.
Individualized training in small groups (usually no larger than 30).
Projects in different teams throughout the course, resolving complex management challenges.

Our faculty combines a balance between academic background and practitioner experience, both nationally and internationally, which results in a high-quality training that is shaped by the latest developments in the field offered to students in the form of research and/or reflections on professional experience.
